-my mom's car got broken into and my backpack and stuff was stolen; goodbye iPod and Kindle and school things from past month and a half

That's slightly humourous because I was just planning on writing a loooooooon, weepy, sentimental, sappy email about summertime and THE GOOD OLD DAYS when I would ENTHUSIASTICALLY hop online and check your blog EVER SINGLE DAY and would ACTUALLY get a post.
